Just had to share :D I FINALLY got hold of a copy of Anne Carson's "Glass, Irony and God"! Now all I have to do is scrimp and save morsels of time to sit and read it!
Oh if they were the good kind, they'd be more than welcome...unlike those menacing, detestable creatures who'd rob one of Wonderland... aww hope you stay safe from their clutches Frankengirl!
As for Jane's Rochester, he's Richard Armitage, the guy who played Thornton in BBC's "North and South". He sounds promising really (as much as is reasonable I suppose...)
The most important bit for you to read is the first 38 pages--"The Glass Essay." Morsels of time won't do: you need one full hour, but that's all you need.
I can't wait to read what you think of it--I really hope you like it.
